A summary of the comments from the March series of public engagements held in Inuvik. This was the second of two public engagements that will support the creation of the Dolomite Lake Recreation Management Plan.
Lands released the Engagement Paper: A Review of the Commissioner's Land Act and the Northwest Territories Lands Act on June 1, 2017. Lands held a number of open houses throughout the territory during July and August 2017 to engage the public and collect feedback on the paper. That feedback is outlined in the 'What we heard - Review of the Northwest Territories Lands Act and Commissioner's Land Act'.
These feedback summaries capture the main ideas from all of the sessions whether there was general agreement or not. They are not detailed or verbatim comments from any particular participant, and do not represent a majority view.
