Workshop Information and Goals
The Resource Co-Management Workshop is being held in Yellowknife, February 4-6, 2020, at the Explorer Hotel.
The MVRMA resource co-management Workshop is being hosted by the Land and Water Boards of the Mackenzie Valley, the Mackenzie Valley Review Board, the Government of the Northwest Territories, and Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada.
This year’s workshop theme is engagement and consultation. The goals of this workshop are to discuss the elements of the co-management system and how it works, and to identify opportunities for improvement – all with the lens of engagement and consultation. This is a chance to share knowledge, ideas, experiences, and to discuss existing co-management processes.

Once the maximum number of registered workshop participants has been reached, names will be added to a waitlist. You will be contacted to confirm your registration.
Hotel rooms have been set aside at the Explorer Hotel and the Days Inn. Participants must book their hotel by January 3, 2020 or risk not finding an available hotel room.
Funding and Contact Information
Participants must cover their own travel costs. Limited funding to cover the travel costs of participants from Indigenous Governments and Organizations will be available.
